This was my amazing stay during your Japan visit. Its location was very central, minute walk from Nio-mon Gate. A shopping street and interesting independent stores were right next door.

A traditional hotel with superb food. Overall a really great stay for 2 nights including the dinner.

The food was exceptional with plenty of alternatives. The rooms were light filled and large with tatami mats and shower & bathroom plus a great view, nothing too much trouble. The location was marvellous for walking around Zenko-ji Temple. I greatly enjoyed the stay here and will be back.

All in all everything was excellent, had an amazing stay of Japanese service. The staff that checked us in was very attentive. It offered us amazing location short walk to nagano biggest and most famous temple, restaurants and shops and a store near-by. The place was so close to Monzen Soba Momotose, where you can have dinner.

The hotel is conveniently located just outside the second gate of Zenkoji Temple, which makes it perfect for exploring the area and soaking in the temple's atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a great view of the old street near the temple. The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring that guests have a pleasant stay. The breakfast served at this hotel is delicious and definitely worth trying.

we recently stayed at a ryokan in Nagano that exceeded our expectations. The lovely staff made our romantic trip special by being accommodating and attentive. The location, next to Zenkoji Temple, was perfect. Jizokan Matsuya Ryokan is definitely worth a visit.

had such wonderful stay of japanese service and the weather was wonderful. all the employees were sincere and very hospitable. the location was fantastic, just next door to nagano and nagano station and so close to a temple and a museum.
